Meadow Elopements

Our pop-up elopements offer an exciting and accessible way for adventurous couples to tie the knot.

We partner with local Okanagan vendors to bring it all – the venue, the flowers, the photographer, and more. Whether you’re looking to embrace your spontaneous side or to simplify costs without sacrificing experience, pop-up elopements bring an element of surprise that will never be forgotten.

WHAT WE DO

We create a magical wedding by focusing on intimate moments and unique design details. It’s so important to us to craft the perfect space for your I do’s. We bring ambiance and a whole lot of magic and heart to our Meadow Elopements with all the must-haves to create something that stays with you for a lifetime.

Each elopement date is fully planned and designed. We work with an amazing group of talented Okanagan vendors that really create the magic we are all looking for.

On each date, we work with four couples, each with your own time and privacy to fully enjoy your moment while sharing the costs between the four couples to create something really spectacular with a lot less money and waste.

We have four spots on each of the dates. Each couple selects their time upon booking and availability.

What about a micro wedding?

A micro wedding is a more intimate version of a traditional wedding, but more involved than an elopement. No need for big guest lists, just you and your closest friends & family together for a celebration that’s unique, meaningful, and more affordable. With a focus on detail and personalized touches, micro weddings allow couples more control over the planning process. Whether you’re dreaming of a micro wedding at MacDonald Acres or somewhere else in the Okanagan Valley, we can recommend a venue, and other amazing vendors to help bring your vision to life!

How it works

STEP ONE
Send us your inquiry and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours to schedule a call to chat about your plans! At this time, we can touch on what custom options + vendors would best suit you. Luckily, we’re well-connected in that area!

STEP 2
Once we firm up your date and a few other details, we get to work right away! We’ll explore the colors, themes, and feel for your special day. During this time, we’ll stay connected and send you all of our recommendations, but you can leave the stress of research + planning to us.

STEP 3
As your wedding day gets closer, there’s not much else to do than get excited, and maybe write your wedding vows. See you at the altar, arch, backyard, winery – wherever your heart aligns.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you come up with the design?

Each month, we curate beautiful, sustainable decor that compliments the natural landscape of MacDonald Acres and the surrounding area. We develop a theme and color palette in advance and choose our design elements from there. Pop-ups work best if you dig surprises, but if you have a specific request, let us know in advance, and we will do our best to match your vision and vibe!

Are you LGBTQ-friendly?

We love love. We love wild lovers. We love seeing people in love.

What options are available following our ceremony?

Hit up a winery, go out for dinner, or go glamping for the night – we have tons of local recommendations and would be happy to serve up some suggestions. If you’re interested in hosting a small reception at our venue (MacDonald Acres), inquire about the last spot on a pop-up day.

What if it rains?

We would never let a little rain dampen your special moment. Most couples embrace the weather, but as planners, we will always have a Plan B!

Can I bring my officiant or photographer?

Each month we carefully select a team of amazing vendors who we have personally worked with on many occasions. Although we are always open to new introductions, we plan our team far in advance.

Hi there! We are Kim and Aimee – event planners, creative partners & friends behind Faint of Heart Events.

We came together over our shared passion for love & landscape, paired with a sheer desire to deliver enchanting events to couples + friends who deserve a one-of-a-kind experience. We are known for our edgy yet artisanal vibe, and for bringing some of Kelowna’s most inspired vendors to help create a day that bursts with uniqueness. When you hire us, you’re getting a whole lot more than just a pretty event (although you’re sure to swoon over our eye for style).
